The Academy of United States Veterans along with the Islamic Relief USA will host an Iftar dinner as a gesture of community unity during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Through collaboration and cooperation, we bring a sense of inclusion, respect for our institutions, our way of life, and respect for each other. This is one of the hallmarks of our democracy. America has moved forward, pushed boundaries and promoted freedom around the world for 240 years. It is our solemn obligation as citizens to root for the success of our vision of community, unity, and equality through our actions.

It is with great humility, pride and unyielding confidence in America’s promise, that we would like to extend a warm invitation to you to our CUE Iftar Dinner on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 7:30 PM hosted by the Islamic Relief USA in collaboration with the Academy of United States Veterans.

"Let us not be blind to our differences-but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved. And if we cannot end our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal."- President John F. Kennedy
